DesignRite is a user-friendly artificial lift design and optimization software that simplifies the process of selecting electric submersible pump (ESP) and gas lift systems. While DesignRite is available to clients, it is widely used internally by engineers (1000+) who design equipment for sales and services ($1B+ revenue). Designing such equipment would not be feasible without DesignRite. In this role, I
- Managed four successful in-house product launches instrumental for a $1.5B engineering business
- Acted as a key liaison between business and engineering
- Provided worldwide support for 900 customers (who reported that the product was essential to their job) and managed business requirements
- Pioneered Agile software development in the company shortening project development cycles and adapting based on feedback
- Led lean methodology introduction in a center of 300 employees implementing initiatives that delivered savings of more than $80K annually by increasing efficiency
- Created a DevOps culture in a group of 20 developers, this resulted in savings of $150K per year
